@charlieschm so there would be no BSN given within the GEorgetown program for Masters? ENd result, these graduates could work as NPs, but if they wanted to make extra money as a floor nurse overnight at a big hospital a couple times a month, they could not supplement this way?

Nancy - I don’t know anything more about Georgetown’s program, but you raise a valid concern.
I can’t imagine doing a NP program without having some full time work experience as a nurse.
@Charliesch Agree! And a lot of the former BSN/Masters combined programs are becoming just Masters. Non-nursing bachelors can enter these programs without a BSN. They will end up with a Masters and RN, I think.
