High GPA, low SAT's

<p>I'm planning to transfer as a junior next fall, I'll have an A.A. (60+ credits) from a Washington state C.C. My GPA's a 3.97. Will my application be hurt significantly by my 1070/1600 on the SAT's (taken in 2000, I graduated h.s. in '01)? I'm just trying to get a feel for where I stand with NYU (match, safety, etc.)</p>

<p>I don't understand how a test taken in 2000 would determine if you could succeed at NYU or not. And from what I've heard, they don't really care unless you've been in college for less than two years. Your GPA is above average so that's good.</p>
