Hi guys. I am applying to most of the ivies plus BC and Tufts this year, and I want to know if my low SATII's are going to kill my chances.

SAT: 2150 (M 730, R 700, W 720)
SATII: Math2 660, US History 620, Bio (E) 580

I was disappointed with my SATII scores, and I need to know how much they will hurt on the applications. Everything else (essays, rank, recs, EC's, GPA) were excellent.

Reality check: Stop saying things like "kill my chances." First, SAT II scores are obviously not the only things that matter. Second, the word 'chances' suggests that this is all a game of chance, and that being admitted is based on luck, not merit. I'm not an admissions officer, but your scores probably won't help you much, and I think you should retake. You can find online how important the colleges you're applying to view SAT II scores.

Welcome Pat! Just as a frame of reference, some folks around here won't call a 2150 sat "high", at least in the context of applying to Ivies. I think it's high though! Congrats. I don't think the SAT II's are bad either, but what do I know? Maybe you can just update you chance thread(s).

Little late to retake, considering it is almost February. And yes, I realize 2150 isnt high, but rather average, for ivies, but it is overall a high SAT score.

I would pay attention to my recs if I was you.
Since your SAT IIs are not that good especially in Bio., I dont know who is gonna write your recs but, if its your bio teach or math teacher, it can be seen as beeing subjective if they qualify you as "one of the best student they ever had".....Otherwise, I think you`ll be fine!
Your score must illustrate the comments on your specific potential for the SAT IIs!
