1000th reply!!!
Wow so much school talk here and my school hasn’t even started. I had to call my gc the other day and they couldn’t fit me into ANY programming classes (not even web design) so now I’m stuck in foods (culinary). I’m extremely upset about it but I’m still doing the online java course so it’s okay I guess. I’m so not ready to go back to school and honestly have yet to finish my summer work (I spent my 7 hours on a plane doing it but I still haven’t finished :(( )
Hoping everyone’s school years are going well!
@mamaba My school doesn’t offer comp sci classes!! #selfstudylife
Story Time:
I come home from my first day of school and see my bookshelves on the floor and TWO BROKEN laptops (which really breaks my heart. My bed room needs heavy repair now… Thank you too my parents for lending me their laptop
Earthquake? @apple1893
Omg well as long as you’re okay. I know the laptops and any other damages are a great loss but what’s more important is that everyone is safe! @apple1893
@mamaba @aspiringgirl No, not an earthquake, it just fell and I don’t know all the details because I was at school. Yes, If I was working on that desk at the time, I would probably be injured, and I’m glad no family was in the room then
So guys real talk: are you a binder or a notebook person?
They have different purposes I use both
@mamba Notebooks! I don’t have room for eight binders in my backpack. (:
You?
Binders for starters, but sometimes I use notebook for something specific.
I use notebooks for specific subjects, and then a binder for papers from all subjects, unless it’s specified that I need a binder for a particular class. And since the struggle of always having to punch holes is real, I usually just put the papers in folders which are in the binder
@wonderfulreads 100% binders. I use 9 binders each about 3 inches. This year I’ll have even more because AP Bio requires 3 binders!
I’m going to be trying out a new system this year where I put a single subject notebook within the binder for notes to make it easier to take stuff back and forth and leave some looseleaf in the back for stuff we have to hand in for class. Hopefully it works out
@mamaba I use binders for any handouts a teacher gives me and notebooks for notes and any homework I have that requires lined paper. My school is also in a semester system so I only have 4 classes for half the year and another 4 the rest of the year so it makes it easier to manage all my school work and homework
I use a 1/2 inch binder and 4 notebooks one for each of my classes.
I prefer to use a binder+notebook for classes that give a lot of papers (history, english) and I use a folder+notebook for everything else.
Notebooks for dayz.
I LOVE notebooks!!! Too bad my Ap Euro class requires binder rather than notebook :((
@sewin2music Can’t u use a binder for storing papers since a notebook is for writing notes
I use a one inch binder for nine out of eleven classes. Still not sure how I’m gonna keep my locker organized once I have textbooks to add to the mix…
