@TrainerGary I have a 79 in APWH, possibly getting that up to a B before the end of the grading period. My class is currently on Chapter 7. I have an A in english 3 honors right now.

I keep forgetting the rest of the world actually has school right now. I’m in SC and the massive flooding has school out for the week. Its kinda bad timing though because the PSAT is next week though. Anyone else prepping for it?
English 3 is a lot easier than English 2. We haven’t written a single essay so far this year, instead we’ve just been reading “the crucible” and analyzing certain parts of it. English 2 seems to be much more like an AP class (at least with the teacher I had)

by the way, are any of you taking the World History SAT II subject test? I’m considering it this year… in fact, when are you all taking the subject tests?
@Madeline25 I’m taking the PSAT10 next Wednesday (even though it isn’t supposed to be that day??? My school is doing all PSATs at the same time). It stinks that you have flooding there. I was lucky in Maine, for the storm went out to sea before it could hit.
Whoevery mentioned WH first, I’m taking APWH my senior year. This year I’m taking World History 2 (basically Renaissance to Modern times) and I’m less than 1% away from an A+. >:(
@TrainerGary I have a C in English, too. I’m in Honors English 10 this year, which is a pre-AP class to prepare us for AP English the next 2 years.
@frazzledazzle I’m also taking the PSAT on Wednesday!! Weird because it’s usually on a Saturday… good luck in English, though. I am suffering from 3 Bs right now eek

@frazzledazzle my class is difficult too, freshmen year we didnt do anything we just read books and took quizes that were off quizlet so now im freaking out :((
@TrainerGary my friend who got a 5 On the Ap world history test said he severeley underestimated the SAT 2 World history test and felt his studying for the AP test would aid him in the world history test but i didnt and he ended up getting a 550 on it
Ill take it if i have time to seperateley study for the SAT 2 if not i’ll just take the Spanish one because i heard thats similar to the AP

I’m going to hold off on subject tests until later since I plan to do the math, chemistry, and biology ones and want to take the IB/AP classes for them first. My English and APWH classes are actually not bad at all. It’s AP Physics that kicking my butt right now :((
Is it okay to take a study hall if you do summer school? I’ve taken summer school for the past 2 years to get some graduation requirements out of the way, and I was wondering if taking one this semester will harm me in admissions :c I’m only taking it because I dropped Honors Physics, but Physics won’t show up on my transcript.
My grades are kind of eh. I’m getting a B in Pre-Calc because I got a D on an applications test 
But when she grades my makeup work from when I was absent (like a month ago) my grade will hopefully go up to a B+! I’m getting A-'s in Chemistry and English. I got a C on a Chem quiz because I was absent when we learned what it was on, and I got bad grades on my summer reading tests for English which are 10% of the quarter grade
The only SAT 2 I’m taking this year is Bio (probably M) because it’s right around the same time as the AP exam (knocking out 2 birds with one stone eh?). I’ll probably take the Physics SAT 2 next year after AP Physics and then Math 2 also. Maybe if I’m feeling it I’ll take the US history one because of APUSH.
I have 2 B+s right now and I’m not super happy about it because one is in Bio and I need to do really well in that class. The other is in English Honors and I know I can pull that up so not too worried there.
@mamaba My school has class rank, and it always surprises me how obsessed people at my (generally uncompetitive) school get about class rank.
@wonderfulreads What is your class rank? mine is currently 121 out of 499 
So my worst grade right now is probs photography 1 lol. I am terrible at art!!! How is everyone else doing?

My class rank at the end of freshman year was 58/268.
@mamba you’re already taking the SAT 2 as a sophomore?!? I’m not taking that until the spring of my junior year/fall of senior!
Right now I have a B- in Acc. Pre-Calc, C in AP Bio, A+ in Band, B- in Honors French 3 (will be higher after she enters a grade in tomorrow), C in Hon. English 10 (she needs to change something from a 0 to a grade), A+ in Team Sports, and A in World History 2 (1/2% from an A+!!!). I need to bring up my B-'s and C’s before the quarter ends in 3 weeks.
