@tonyk16 I hear that this winter will be bad, too. “Winter” and “snow” are bad words in my household unless it’s winter. We don’t want to jinx ourselves into getting a lot of snow. My town is already starting to get frost on cars in the morning.
The marking period ended for me yesterday! So glad I don’t have to look at Moby-Dick anymore. Fingers crossed for great grades!

I didn’t get to celebrate Halloween because we had an all day state band competition. We placed third. I’m glad we got medals!

Happy November everyone (who’s ready for Christmas/Hanukkah/other?? lol)! How did everyone celebrate Halloween? I went to a party and got back super late I’m exhausted.

@raffie That is still cool. I usually do stuff with my local church, but it was netflix and pizza for me this year. Oh, and of course, lots of candy. So glad winter sports are back around…

@tonyk16 I’m in “ballroom dancing 1”. We don’t have regular PE or sports at my school
@mamba I hung out with some my friends. We ate the candy we were supposed to give the trick or trick or treaters and just drove around.
@tonyk16 Horseback riding, we go year round B-) However, in my area, the winter is more competitive. Professionals and big time riders migrate like birds and this time of the year, they are near us.

@raffie @Madeline25 COOL! Ballroom Dancing is something that I have not seen around. As for Horseback riding that definitely seems fun. Do you race or is it more of a “show” horse kind of thing?
@BucketsUCSC Did you already have tryouts and stuff? Winter sports don’t start for me till Nov. 16th. I hope I make the team because I really need an Extracurricular which I currently only do tennis.Fun Fun Fun.

bro its 8 30 Wait youre prob on the east coast and we have tryouts monday I quit because i wasnt happy with my role on the team the season technically hasnt started yet for basketball but they have practice everyday and play in a fall league
I decided for now not to do IB because I don’t feel prepared at this point.

For winter sports, I used to play basketball (3rd - 5th grade). I also played softball (3rd - 8th grade). Now I just manage softball. I chose to spend more time on academics and music.
Today’s the first day of the second quarter for me. Renewed hell, in my opinion. At least I get to start my science fair project now.
