@manspeak2u I consider myself a Christian.- very religous in fact. But these people are completely speaking hatred, and God tells us to love our neigbors not hate them. The bible talks about how God hates people who do bad and are against him. It all depends on who you believe is in the wrong and against God. One thing is for sure- they are definantly misrepresenting Christianity.
Totally agree!
I try to find a reason to everything. I mean they must believe in this because of something. So basically I just try to think the way they do and understand why. I can understand why they don’t like LGBT+ people. But they shouldn’t be hating. I’m just gonna try to keep it lowkey on Tuesday.
Now, I’m not saying I support them; I’m just trying not to do what they’re doing - aka hate on them.
Thats good. Im gonna try to do that too. I was planning on preaching to them but that wont work.
I have a pretty good memory so I find it pretty easy and I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE BIOLOGY so that definitely helps too haha
My favorite science would be either chemistry or anatomy & physiology.
@Giovuhnni Contrary to what a lot of people think, Christians do no hate gays. The churches that preach that are extremely radical. I, like you, do not support their choices, but I don’t hate them. I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman, that was how we were created to be.
I dont want to get too gross here. But I believe that sex is between a man and a woman. I think it is ok for people to love eachother no matter the gender. But then again- @manspeak2u you could be right, I used to believe that too.
Yeah, you see we all have different beliefs and we should respect that. I respect what you both think and can see why you think like that.
Yo people I decided to be gay the same time you decided to be straight.
You likely never decided to be straight.
It’s not a choice, it’s likely a complex set of factors including environmental factors, region, and possibly genetics and family structure.
I can personally verify that some gay people feel terrified at first when they realize that they might be gay. The stress I had over it for the past few months, while not nearly as bad as some of my friends’, is not really something that most people would willingly endure. The idea that it is a choice is a huge factor in the depression, anxiety, and self-harm of some of my friends: their parents are treating it like a bad decision, when in reality, it’s not. I have friends who cut because their parents treat them as subhuman beings. I have a friend who can’t be who he really is because of his transphobic parents. I know a genderfluid individual who can’t come out as gay (and I mean really, really, really gay) because their dad would disown them and their mom would become even more physically abusive. I can’t come out because my grandparents would disown my mom. There’s a seriously depressed senior who is informally voted as “most likely to shoot up the school” due to the abuse he’s received from some really awful transphobic individuals. So please stop saying that it’s a choice. This furthers the misinformation and hatred that leads to the abuse of LGBTQ+ individuals. I respect your beliefs, but not disrespect.
Omg I hate bio class, it is so boring and we NEVER do real labs. Most of the “labs” we’ve done are readings that we have to write about, there is no sense of discovery or surprise (since most of the “labs” are super predictable) and this causes the learning experience to be SUPER dull and uninteresting. The material is also basically a review of 8th grade science (which was a review of elementary and middle school science) so we’re not really learning a lot. One of the things I was most excited about for high school was being able to take advanced courses (especially science classes), but most of the “Honors” classes aren’t really that difficult or enriching, usually they just have more homework and better behaved students.
Anyways that was my mini-rant, I apologize for any grammatical errors, I typed this on my dad’s phone.
@IAmNotCreativ omg same my teacher is like “okay, you have a test tomorrow, let’s spend 15 minutes learning this crucial information” and I’m like “OMFFSM WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING”
@IAmNotCreativ In my bio class we got to swab our cheek cells and put it under a microscope to look at. It was pretty gross but also interesting!
@awesomepolyglot what gender are you?
In my bio class, we’re in groups of three. My friend/cocompetitor/future val and I were going to be in the same group with somebody who wouldn’t have been a freeloader and gotten the highest grades on everything, but the groups we got today are in alphabetical order :’(
Cis female
Anyway, I went to my first football game today! The game itself was boring and I literally talked to my friends the whole time but it was so much fun! I wish I went to more games during the season.
@adiacs why did you ask? I mean, using this username on WikiHow, I’ve been confused for a male many times, but…
And it wasn’t the playoffs, was it?
@awesomepolyglot Just curious because you never said it before. I can kinda tell other users genders but wasn’t sure if you were a guy or girl. And I have no idea, I don’t watch football at all but it was the last game of the season.
