What should I major in if I want to become a high school counselor?
Psychology, Sociology, Public Administraton. Education PhD perhaps
If you are undergrad, then you might want to major in Secondary Education (your choice of subject) to get some experience in the classroom. Once you have that then go for a graduate degree in School Counseling (Master’s will be fine), and look for a job as a counselor.
