That's just stupid. Everyone knows that the polar bears are still vacationing in Greenland in March...

Seriously, being a sophmore is 10x better than being a freshman.

I always thought of Sophomore year as the suckiest year.

I despise English. -_-

Sophomore year was easy for me - but I think it was because I was used to the high school lifestyle by then. I'm a junior now and, yeah, it sucks.

I have a low opinion of freshmen because there is a group of them next to me in this one class, and they're always talking about Homecoming or someone going out with someone blah blah, and then they have to ask questions that have already been answered twenty thousand times because they weren't freaking paying attention.

I agree that I can't wait til college...but it's not because of the underclassmen.

Senior year is going by so fast though...it's a good thing and a bad thing. I can't decide since I want to know my college acceptances/rejections already, but at the same time, it is my last year...:(

I don't think the underclassmen are that bad. In fact, I think there are some freshman who are way more mature than some of the seniors in my class...

I loved freshman year. Not many ECs, No APs, No overly hard classes, traditional school like days (go to school come home). Now it is just too stressful. In junior year AP chem and AP us, I have had more bad grades than my entire life before had.

woah. i always thought being a senior would be complete bliss.

BEEEEEEP. WRONG answer. senior year sux. all i can think about is how horrible high school is. how i lasted 3 years. and how im gettn into college and where am i going.

some underclassmen annoy me just because they think there so tight because they finally made it to high school. actually, i think its hilarious. lol. but all in all i dont care if someone is freshmeat or a senior. just get me outta here! lol

senior year is awful. AWFUL. I take all honors level and AP classes, and do you know what I do during my 10 period school day? absolutely nothing. not even nothing in the good way...just sitting there, learning nothing, listening to pointless rambling without taking notes, being educated, or being stimulated in anyway. mind numbingly boring.

i feel like my brain is going to rot.

seriously, when you do nothing for 2 months straight, especially in classes like AP Chem (we had one test, and she does her other classes' work all period), you just want to jump out a window.

i cannot wait to go to college just to keep my brain from turning into mush and seeping out my ears. god i need to leave this hell hole lol.

I'm a Junior, and I like learning in theory, but I hate high school with passion.

I'd homeschool, but then I wouldn't get into a good college. And my parents wouldn't let me, anyway. :(
If I did homeschool, I'd probably graduate this June...

the other day during my AP environmental science class one of the assistant principals just barges in during the middle of lecture, completely disrupting the class, and takes a student out to go to the office to change her shirt because it is razorback and out of dress code (it was last period, she had cheerleading next). Then my AP english lit class the next morning was interrupted in the same fashion when 2 or 3 students were summoned for random drug testing (all 3 students were highly highly unlikely to ever do any type of drug and everyone knew that including the AP). i just want to get away from these dumb rules where we dont have babysitters watching us.

i know its just soooooooooooo pointless. nearly everyday i look back and ask myself, how in the wrodl did i survive the last 3 years here? The people are complete idiots, listetning to them makes me wanna laugh and cry both at the time thinking of how stupid some members of our generation are. I come to school for nothing, i just waste gas driving there!

if you don't like high school, you can skip it. there are early entrance college things that you can do. i'm in one of those right now.
it's so great. college is pure freedom. you don't even need to attend classes; basically you can do whatever you want. and, to get into college early you need to be smart so now i don't have to deal with a bunch of mindess hairbrained idiots anymore.

Ugh, I'm so tired of being with these IB students. They're so ... elitist. They only stay with themselves. They don't like to be around new people.

And I'm sick of these AP students. They're like high school students from LA.

And I'm sick of these regulars students. Most of them don't act or dress like a functional person. And they don't care about school. They talk too much and are hindering my education.

I like talking with all of them (or trying to. Most of the IB boys are much too snobby) but please... I'm sick of you all... I want to go to SMU. Lol, yes, like SMU will be any better. I dunno what to do. sigh

I wish to god I had joined the Richland Highschool. 2 years of highschool 2 years of community college. That is ****in' perfect!

I loved my senior year in high school. I'd finished all my graduation requirements in my junior year, so I picked my senior classes for fun: speech, acting, stagecraft, honors government, physics, economics, model UN. I had a hot girlfriend, and three great guy-friends. This might not sound like fun to you, but I had a great time. I don't know if times were better then (although it was at the very end of Vietnam and we worried about getting drafted and sent off to the jungles), or I was just too ignorant to suffer from angst. Anyway, I'm sorry that you are all so miserable. It's a shame you're not having a good time.

i guess it depends on the school and students.

still, you can skip it if it really bothers you.

Every single day our school makes long, drawn-out pointless announcements about dress code and how pulling the fire alarm is bad during every single class. We have to wear IDs and can be suspended if we don't... it honestly feels like prison. I can't wait until I graduate.

Yeah I used to say Freshman were fine, but once you reach the end of first semester senior year, there's no way you'll think a Freshman's antics are cute.

COME ON COLLEGE! Even the seniors in my class seem immature to me.

May 15th is my last day, got the day circled

I seriously agree with you that say freshmen suck. WE DO. I mean, I don't. I mostly mind my own business, get good grades and try to make some friends. But I'm not all high and mighty because I have a date this friday, if you get my point. I hear the other freshmen talking sometimes and they really **** me off. They give ME a bad name, where I didn't do anything. They try to be all cool and stuff and be popular. High school's not about popularity... it's about making it through all four years.
