High School refuses to keep in contact?

Hi, I’m applying for the fall term. I am currently in a gap year and need documentation for my future apps.

I requested two letters of recommendation and asked two questions to different sectors of the high school college offices. This was 10-15 days ago and they still have not responded as opposed to the first time I talked to them through the internet it was almost instant until I went ahead and asked them for a favor. I think they are ignoring my requests, what do I do?

Whenever I call nobody picks up, like, at all.
The school is very far and I can’t get there this week, next week might be too late to ask for recommendations,.

It’s late October, am I overreacting or do I need to act ASAP?

Which HS did you call? The one from your F-J years or the one from your S year? What hours are you calling? Can your parents help in contacting them?

Senior year, I’ve called every hour from 8 am to 5 PM to no avail.
My parents can’t really make a difference because nobody picks up. My only exchange was with my GC, who I guess, happened to be checking his email when I sent it, replied rather quickly, but after 2nd reply, took 6 days for another message and then recently it’s been 14 days since I’ve heard from anyone, (I’ve emailed about ~5 people regarding apps, called more than 10 times)

You need to go in person, even if it’s inconvenient. That’s the only way they can’t ignore you.
