<p>I went to an engineering program at UCONN and people told me that CT high school students ranked #1 or #2 get to attend the university free of tuition. I looked online and it said that they get a presidential scholarship, but it doesn't specify the dollar amount. Is it full tuition or just a rumor?</p>
<p>You will receive a scholarship in the amount of four times the tuition for your first year of attendance, and a $2500 research grant. The scholarship doesn’t increase along with tuition over the four years, so you will probably have to pay an extremely small portion of the tuition for your next three years.</p>
