Hispanic test-takers

<p>DS finally received his NHRP letter. I noted that the letter said that 253,000 Hispanic/Latino students had taken the PSAT in 2011. Does anyone have last year's letter so we could compare numbers? I'm just trying to determine whether the number of Hispanic test-takers is on the rise. Just curious how the numbers have trended.</p>

<p>HS Class of 2007: NHRP recognized approximately 4.7k students from a pool of 175k students who identified as Hispanic on the PSAT.</p>

<p>HS Class of 2011: NHRP recognized almost 5k students from a pool of over 200k student who identified as Hispanic on the PSAT.</p>

<p>Excellent, thanks! Because Hispanics are the fastest-growing minority group, I was hoping that the number was increasing. :)</p>
