Hispanics and Penn, particulary Wharton

How much of boost, if one is present does UPENN or Wharton give to Hispanics? Thanks

Hispanics (excluding Spaniards) generally always get a boost as they are:
-URM’s(Under Represented Minorities)
-Economic/Social disadvantage
-Usually 1st generations attending college

Asians are definitley no longer considered minorities, whites never have been, and African-Americans/Black are becoming less and less of minorities thus leaving Hispanics at the most advantage. *Except Native Americans get an even greater boost and some Islanders).

That doesn’t mean you can get in w/ a <3.5 GPA definitley/especially not at Wharton, just as long as your stats are just as good, slightly less stellar, or even better than a White applicant/Black/Asian applicant you will most likely get picked out of that pool.

Im hispanic too. high-five

This is utterly embarrassing.
