History Major questions

<p>I had a few questions regarding the major that I was hoping someone would be able to answer for me. Firstly, I took History 1C last quarter and I wanted to make sure that it would count both towards my major and as a GE requirement. Secondly, I haven't finished all of the pre-history requirements but wanted to take an upper-division class next quarter. Even though I'm not yet an actual history major (I'm still classified as pre-history), can I enroll in this course and will it count towards the necessary upper-division classes needed for the actual major? </p>

<p>If you're going to be a history major, you won't have to worry about fulfilling the historical analysis GE. </p>

<p>If there are no pre-requisites, yes it's fine for you to enroll.</p>
