<p>Okay, so I know U of I has an excellent engineering and sciences program, but I was wondering what current students thought about the programs at LAS. I plan on majoring in history, economics, or political science and I was just wondering what you guys thought of the programs. I'm OOS, double legacy and would LOVE to attend the next four years at U of I.</p>
<p>Well, this isn't very scientific, but I met a young lady who was working at Pages for all Ages. She was a History major and absolutely loved the program. She said she wished it had the visibility of Engineering and Commerce.</p>
<p>I know somebody who began a PhD program in Econ. He had been accepted to Ivies and other prestigous Econ grad programs, but selected Illinois because of its strength.</p>
