How easy is it to get in with a 28 on my ACT and a 4.1 GPA. I am getting conflicting answers. I also have worked at the YMCA as a lifeguard for the last 6 months. Give me chances folks I am thinking about going to the HOST program but I don't know if I am not getting some good answers back.

University of Indiana with a 28 ACT and 4.1 gpa? You're in. Have you applied yet?

Nope not quite yet. I am only a junior and I am gonna wait a few more onths till I go visit and get all that fun stuff done. But thanks helped my confidence a little there with some of the more selective collegs I am applying to.

Expect scholarship money. What school are you applying to? If you can raise your ACT a few points, you may get a full ride (Wells Scholarship/Kelley Scholars), if not, about 6K per year.

Let's see. I am thinking about applying to University of Michigan since it is instate and only like 45 min from my house. I have a tour there on Monday and also possibly Ohio State (my cousin goes there and loves it) and Xavier is also a possibility. Oh yes and the Air Force Academy is also pretty high on the list but I have almost got it narrowed down to going to IU if I don't get into the Academy which is extremly hard and I have to start applying there ina few weeks when I turn 17.

Really for my ACT all I have to do is raise my Math and Science scores I only got a 26 and 24 in those compared to scores in the 28 in writing, 31 in english, and a 32 in reading. So if I up those a couple points each I should end up with my goal of like an overall 30-32. I hope. I am also taking the SAT for the National Merit scholar ship since my PSAT scores were high enough. But anyways thanks for the help.
