Honestly what are my chances for A&M?

As I was lackadaisical in my attitude toward my studies throughout high school my chances of getting into a good university are slim to none. Without diverging on a tangent, issues such as trying to help a friend with his cocaine addiction, family divorce, and mono during my junior year contributed to my rather poor credentials. Now that I have turned over a new leaf, and i feel that I am ready to succeed in the college environment. However, I fear that my poor track record will prevent me from attending a good school within Texas. Eyes set on either A&M or UT, it will be a dream come true if I am granted admission to either school. How badly will my horrible class rank affect my chances? What are my chances to get into both universities? Furthermore what school is the easiest to get into within A&M?

Please help me :(

I personally think you would be accepted with those statistics to A&M.

The most competitive schools I imagine would be mays business, dwight look engineering, and the biomedical sciences related school.

Do you have any idea of what you want to major in?

Attend as many A&M events as possible. Whoopin’ Weekend, Aggie Saturday, Aggie Shadow, camps, conferences, football or baseball games. You will get “points” for these on your app.

Good luck

You have a realistic chance. However, how good that chance is really depends on many factors, some out of your control.
