I know UCLA tap gives priority when you finish your honors program and I also know Berkeley has Tap but only via invite. Does anyone know where to find the acceptance rate by major for students who aren't Berkeley tap certified but have completed their honors program?

Unlike UCLA, there is no certification to Berkeley’s TAP. UCLA TAP provides priority admissions where as Berkeley has a counselor help you with the process of transferring. And that ranges from info about the school, all the nuts and bolts of transferring as a particular major, and during the application process.

Either way, I’m interested in the numbers as well if anyone knows where it is.

Wow, I was unaware that Berkeley’s TAP did not provide priority admission. I just assumed that because Berkeley TAP is an option as a transfer program on the UC app which surprised me.

Unfortunately, Berkeley doesn’t really publish any of their acceptance rate information whatsoever, let alone something as specific as this. Also, the number of students even involved in TAP is less than 100 in the entire state.

At orientation, they did mention some of the top transfer CCs and the overall transfer and freshman admittance rates.

It doesn’t matter because UC Berkeley doesn’t give priority to Honors students.

"At orientation, they did mention some of the top transfer CCs and the overall transfer and freshman admittance rates. "

Is this something I can find on a site somewhere? Any of the top cc’s off the top of your head you remember?

Idk. Probably not. You can search past threads for information about top transfer CCs in general. This doesn’t vary much year to year.
