<p>I am trying to decide if I want to participate in the Holors College at the U of A. I know I want to rush. What are the time demands of the honors program vs. regular classes? Is it possible to actively participate in the honors program and a sorority? I am going to be a chemistry major, and pre-med or pre-dental, so would graduating with honors make a big difference when it comes to getting in to med school? Any info would be great! Thanks!</p>
<p>Rzrbck - I cannot address your questions specific to pre-med. However, I can share with you that my daughter is in the Honors College - History Major with Minors in Anthropology and Historic Preservation. She is active in her Sorority. If anything, her experiences with her Sorority have helped her to get more from her college experience, and have helped her with time-management.</p>
