<p>I think that as far as which date determines priority acceptance, the housing application date is the most important. But, if you send in the enrollment deposit after the other honors kids (if you're waiting for honors housing) then you may be too late. As I said earlier, we sent in that 50 dollars back in early October, then the very same day that we sent in the enrollement $ over the internet, UT was on the phone with us asking if d wanted an honors dorm room. So I do think that they honor that statement on their website that says that they proiritize your application according to when you send in the 50 dollars. </p>
<p>You could definitely try calling the housing and food services department and asking. I talked twice to the same person. She's the one who told me last week that there were only 30 honors rooms left for females.</p>
<p>And she also said that we would not know which honors dorm d would be in, only that she would have one of the three. We'll find out which one in the summer with everyone else, I guess.</p>
<p>D is still wavering about schools, so I am taking a big financial chance on all this money going to UT. ...Playing the dorm game. But the 300 dollars is refundable until May 1st for first time freshman.</p>
