Honors Program

Hello, I just got invited to the Honors Program at Lincoln Center. It looks amazing, and I am honored to be invited. As I understand from the website, only 16 people each year participate. Does this mean more people are invited? Does anybody have any experience with or insights into the program? Does it affect scholarships at all? Thank you.

Does anybody know anything?

I’m familiar with the Rose Hill honors program, but I believe the two function similarly.

There will be about 16 in the program for its duration. There is the opportunity for others to gain admission after first semester, but it may only be 1 or 2 additional members.

Scholarships are not based on acceptance into the program. However, most honors students are awarded large merit scholarships as part of the regular admissions process.

The Rose Hill program has been a wonderful experience – small classes, enticing curriculum, strong sense of community, exciting opportunities – and I’m sure the LC program is very similar. Not many students, even those at the most prestigious schools, can claim they experienced individualized attention on the level of Fordham’s honors programs.
