<p>I thought that was normal pace: he received admission decision (RD2) online on March 23, and the packet arrived a few days later. Then he took a few days to mull over where to go and another few days on filling up the online Honors application form and we sent in the payment in early April.</p>
<p>He has 800M/730V and 4.6GPA. I hope the decision will be favorable.</p>
<p>My guess is he is fine because he fits the criteria. Sorry, forgot about the RD2 thing.....</p>

<p>My S is RD2 and received the invitation to apply for the Honors Program in the admission packet. Check with the Honors Program (<a href="http://www.honors.ufl.edu/aboutus.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.honors.ufl.edu/aboutus.html</a>) where the following is taken from:</p>
<p>If you are admitted to UF and the Office of Admissions determines that you meet these minimum criteria, you will receive an invitation to apply for the Honors Program along with your UF acceptance letter. Students who are invited must postmark their confirmation materials by March 1 (for Oct. 3 or Oct. 17 UF applicants) or May 1 (for January 17 UF applicants). If you do not receive an invitation but still believe you qualify for Honors, please call the Office of Admissions at (352) 392-1365.</p>
<p>My S just received an email from UF on his acceptance into the Honors Program today. He has till May 14 to apply for early registration of Honors courses.</p>

<p>You don't apply to the honors program. They invite you if you qualify. They want at least 700 on math and 700 on English (not the writing section) and also at least a 4.0. Apply to U.F. at least RD 1 at least for your potentila housing date..........</p>
<p>You also have to apply for it. There's an application form online.</p>
