Hey guys, It feels like im running out of questions to ask but I was wondering if anyone had any idea on the selectivity of the honors program? I wasn’t offered an invite outright, my test scores weren’t up to speed I guess. Now my test scores are solidified as a 31 on the ACTs. My FSU recalculated GPA is 4.13, and I know on the honors petition it asks about senior year schedule, I took a fairly rigorous course load and got straight A’s to show for my midyear which is weird because its senior year and that’s never happened before haha. I was just wondering if anyone who was in the same boat or had info about this could shed some light on this topic, for some reason I cant find anything very helpful at all
We have a very similar situation, so we’re going to petition for admission. It’s supposed to be highly selective based on the info in publicuniversityhonors.com.
Could you clarify please. So when you first applied to FSU your test scores were lower than a 31, and then you raised them up since you have applied and now are going to try to petition for admission? If that’s the case @a0dhan725 then I’d say you have a good shot. A 30 seems to be like the minimum score people need to get the oos tuition waiver and acceptance into the honors program. Good luck!
yea, I applied with a 27 and to get the OOS scholarship I took them again and thats when I got the 31. Thanks a lot for all the advice, I really appreciate it
