So I've tried to find as much information on the 'getting in' aspect of the honors program, but there really is so little (that I could find). I think determining if you qualify is easy enough. But then after that? I know the letter is not just a formality, that you still have to be accepted into the program. So my question stands, does anyone happen to know what qualifications exist beyond the 2070SAT/33ACT to get into the honors program (e.g. essays, recommendations, etc.)? As an appendage, is there more weight given to those with better test scores, and thus, is that how they determine who gets in? I don't believe this to be true as I've read of someone with a 2300 or so (allegedly) getting rejected. In any manner, any information would be appreciated.

the best thing you can do is call admissions and ask them all those concerns.

True, I can’t imagine how far that will get me however…

Why not email one of the honors advisors? With so many qualified students to choose from, showing interest in the program might work to your advantage.

^ yep! do that!

Hah, a wonderful idea! I’ll try it.
