Like any other high school student, I am looking to improve my college/scholarship applications.

I already know of the National Honor Society (which I have already applied to)
But what about the "Honors Society", I have never heard of them. And what about the "National Scholars Honor Society"

Does anyone know whether these are reputable organizations? Should I apply?
Have you ever heard of them, or are you part of this organization...what is your opinion?
Will membership in such organizations better my chances or receiving scholarships and admission to colleges?

Please help me!....Thank you so much in advance :)

No, do not apply.

You have never heard of them for good reason.

They want to charge you a fee to list you and your accomplishments in book, right? Do you want to show your grandparents the book?

That's all there is to it.

Oh...really?!
I didn't know that they wanted a fee. Thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it, I will definitely not apply to these! :)

P.s.- Do you know of any GOOD organizations (like the N.H.S.) that I can apply for?

Again, thank you!

I'm in the National Honor Society and sever other honor society's including the National Society of High School Scholars. They do ask for a fee to have membership, but you can apply for a fee waiver; but the organizatiions is good. They offer scholarships and everything. So if you don't mind paying a little fee I would apply. As far as other organizations, I would just do something you feel passionate about. Don't do something because your trying to beef your applications up, do an activity that you want to do because you love it.
