Most UH 120 are 1 credit and I assume pass/fail.

If the class is 2 or 3 credits, is it graded? I thought this used to show up when looking up the Class on My Bama, but DS couldn’t find it and I can’t either.

I’m not sure, but thought I’d mention that my D took a UH 120 1 credit common book experience class and it was graded.

Thanks! Maybe we are just remembering incorrectly and all are graded unless it states otherwise.

My S has taken a few 120 classes, as well as other UH seminar and service based learning classes, ranging from 1 to 3 credits. ALL have been graded.

There’s a notation in the online course descriptions which states whether a course has standard letter grading or pass/fail grading.

Here is a list of the entire lot of UH courses: http://honors.ua.edu/academics/honors-courses/all-courses/
The only P/NP classes appear to be in UH 100 and 103 (AA, OA, BBA).

Does anyone know if you can change from graded class to take a class Pass/Fail AFTER the deadline to add a class? I know you can’t change your mind back after that class-add deadline has passed, but what about in the middle of the semester? Here is the page from the catalog - I just need some clarification from those who have taken a P/F option before, please. Thanks. http://courseleaf.ua.edu/introduction/academicpolicies/gradesandgradepoints/#passfailoptiontext
