I was wondering if you guys could help me out a bit. I am currently a sophomore political science major at WSU and am very unhappy here. I originally applied for the Autumn 2013 quarter but was rejected and decided to give WSU a shot and now here I am. I currently have a 3.6 cumulative GPA and was wondering my chances of being accepted for Autumn quarter. I started with a 3.4 GPA my freshmen year and have slowly worked my way up. I read on their website that only around 14% of 4-year transfer applicants are accepted so I was wondering how I could spice up my personal statement considering WSU also has a political science major making me think they’d be reluctant in accepting me. Help!
You just need to think of a good reason or apply to a competitive major. According to our observations, once you are accepted into a competitive major as a transfer you will get into the UW as well (and competitive majors don’t usually look into where you are coming from). I really doubt you will transfer as a polisci major without a very good convincing reason.
