Hopeful UC Davis transfer in Fall 2014

So I'm kind of freaking out about applying for schools this fall and I need some advice. I have been at a California CC for quite a while (like 5 years:/) and I am hopeful to transfer to UC Davis next fall. When I first started CC, I didn't really take school seriously and I'm really regretting that now.

My current GPA is 3.12. My plan was to TAG Davis but I need a GPA of at least 3.2.
I'm double majoring in Linguistics and Anthropology and I have gotten an A in all of my major classes. I also have two jobs, and volunteer by tutoring people in learning to speak/read/write English. Will they take any of this into consideration?

And if I want to apply to any other UC's, like UCLA, am I just kidding myself? Also, when I apply is it my current GPA now, or do they take into account my grades for Fall 13/Spring 14?

Also, does the fact that I have been in Community College for a long time hurt my chances?

D:

They will look at all of your transferable grades up to (and including) the Fall semester you apply. Just try hard to hit the 3.2 GPA mark and you will be fine for Davis. UCLA would be crazy difficult to get into, but slightly possible if you ace your classes. I don’t think they factor in time spent at CC.

I think you can’t tag after 2 years in CCC, i might be wrong

You can still TAG.

Oh, I always thought you had to do it within 2 years…but anyways 3.12 is not so far from 3.2…step your game up and get that 3.2! As for UCLA I think you should apply just so you won’t regret it. I think if you apply fall 2013, the spring 2014 grades won’t be counted but some UC’s need you to pass certain classes with a C or B

Okay good to know I still have a fighting chance. Thank you! :)
