seems like I'll be staying in hopkins. Can anyone tell me what it's like? socially, academically, watever. How many floors, how many people on each floor, how close people are, etc...

I am in Hopkins as well. Room 130, what room are you in?

I have no idea what Hopkins is like other than its location and room size.

I'm in room 333, so I guess we live on different floors??

but ya, haven't really heard much bout hopkins yet, pretty anxious. lol.

Hopkins is a good one. In case you don't know, it's part of the Complex, which contains Thomas, Hopkins, and Smith halls, connected by lounges. Hopkins is in the middle, between Thomas and Smith, so you can quickly get anywhere--gym, kitchen, laundry room. Be aware, though, that all of the tours go through Hopkins 2nd, which could be annoying at 10 am on Saturdays. :-)

thanx for the info

anyone know how the social life is at hopkins? About how many people are in it?

There are about 110, 120 residents of Hopkins itself, but RHA organizes a bunch of mixers, etc. at the beginning of the year so all of Complex functions as one--it's really more like 300 people. Complex is not as social as Dobbs, but because of the large lounges and the large number of residents many groups have practice/parties in Complex, so there's usually something to do without even leaving your building.

From the title of this thread I thought that Hopkins complex was like Tufts syndrome. Some sort of psychological thing. I'm in Trimble btw.
