I'm gonna bump this thread again cause Hotelies need to talk to each other more. We're special.

i think im screwed >.<

wtheck? 8 ED hotelies?! AHHH. 1/5 get in. so...my chances are slim =[[

hahaha. but sonofatree, I laughed when I read "we're special" HAHHA. we soooo are =]]

hey password, you felt the quake, right?

afchang, did you? Probably not, since it was in norcal only I think..

didnt even hear about an earthquake until you brought it up

YEAHHH! it started shaking and stuff that weren't that sturdy in my room fell down. just a couple of flat boxes and plastic bags though, thank god. It was EXCITING. First quake I've ever felt =]] hahah

afchang23- are you in the norcal/san jose/ milipitas area?

nope, while you guys are dealing with earthquakes, we're dealing with fires down here in socal (though they arent really affecting me)

...when you guys are dealing with fires and earthquakes and your state breaking off to become it's own island....we in new england are dealing with....(sigh) the leaves falling :)

not quite as dramatic.

***** Yeah Leaves!

hahaha. while it's probably under 50 degrees there...it still reaches high 60, low 70s in Cali =]] hahaha. not that the earthquake really affected me either, just like...8 seconds. hahah.

I sorta went on with the AIM conversations when it first happened (cause the small shakes went away after 1-2 seconds in my past experiences), but then it started shaking like crraaazzzyyy, so I freaked out ducked under my desk.

Then, I realized the desk was from Ikea so I freaked out even more, and ran under the doorstill thing.

im ready for a change of environment, if you know what i mean ;) ithaca sounds reaaaaaally nice right about now, hahaha.

am i the only one on CC applying ED who has no actual work experience? =(

I'm sure you're not the only one! =] my experience...isn't that great.

but yeah, for sure, I want to get out of Cali even though my parents dont' want me too. But the cold...jeeez. taht's gonna kill me just a little.

HAHAH. IKEA DESKS. I love ikea!

YEAH! i hate the industrial smog that has permanently settled over LA. plus, i live in a very asian town in which every other store is either a boba shop, a baguette store, or a foot massage parlor.

my mom doesnt want me to leave california either, haha, but i convinced them ;)

I go to the school on the cover of the now infamous Wall street journal (at least in our area) about the white flight and how our area is too asian -__- my school is 70+% asian.

lol. do they call it boba in socal? up here we call it pmt (pearl milk tea) (and the stores are all like quickly, tapioca express, q-cup, etc? hahah)

yeap, its all "boba" in socal haha. i used to be quite fond of it, but ive been in a jamba juice craze for the past 2 years =P

Yesterday, I tried jamba juice's Chocolate Peanut Butter shake, under the "Indulgences" section of the menu, I think. Anyways, it was REALLY REALLY good, even though it kind of defeated the purpose of going to jamba juice for fruitylicious antioxidants and vitamins.
