<p>How are the housing options after freshman year? What percentage of students who want to live on campus typically get space after freshman year?</p>
<p>The housing options after freshman year on campus is very good. I’m not sure what the percentage is but every friend of mine that loved living on campus is actually living on campus once again (sophomore year). Upperclassmen(sophomores included) get better housing options. They can apply for Hillenbrand and have a way better chance on getting a suite unlike freshmen. For guys, they can apply for Cary Suites which is imho the best room at Purdue since of it’s location and the style of room your in. Upperclassmen are the only ones allowed in Cary Suites so yeah. Um, I believe that the top floors or something of Windsor is for upperclassmen only also? I’m not sure what the difference is at Windsor but my friend’s girlfriend was talking about it once, if someone can put some info. in if they know anything. Surprisingly, I do have some friends who stay at their original dorms. for their sophomore year again like Owen. Many people to be honest, feel attached to their freshman year dorm since they more or less had a lot of memories they cherished. I know it’s sad but I cherish my time at McCutcheon and wouldn’t mind staying there again or Earhart(stayed here during the summer). </p>
<p>A LOT of kids however move off-campus after their freshmen year, I believe it’s around the 70’s percentage rate. There are many great, cheap options around campus actually. I have a few I would recommend:</p>

<p>There are obviously other apartments that are closer to campus but these are the more popular apartments. Pretty much it’s all students or grad. students that live in these apartments also.</p>
