Just wanted to note that the housing application opened today for incoming freshman (through their portal).
If you are a parent and your student is under 18, evidently you need to get an email waiver/authorization first. Not sure all the details since our son is over 18, but this was noted in the Cal Poly Parents Facebook page.
The housing application is date-stamped, but LOTS of parents have said that their students submitted housing applications NOT on the first day and still got their 1st/2nd choice, so NO NEED TO PANIC if your student hasn’t accepted/decided yet.
