<p>yeah NYU sends out the housing info a little later than most other schools. kinda sucks...because we all have ot be anxious and nervous about who/where/what we're dorming with.</p>
<p>i actually just checked albert and i saw that my account balance is no longer $0.00 so I assume that means they've already figured out the dorm stuff right? Except that I don't really understand the amount of money. Is anyone else getting this on their balance?</p>

<p>Mine says $5399 with $1600 meal, and I requested 3rd North (early decision). According to those figures above, that makes no sense at all! I'm confused because the housing should cost more....I hope they didn't assign me differently.</p>
<p>hmm...well, if you're ed, you're supposed to get your first choice...maybe you have a slightly smaller room or something? Or maybe one less appliance?</p>

<p>Wait, I'm confused: is your total 6,697, or just housing alone? Yes, I believe that the meal plan is 1600/semester. If you go to current activity, it breaks it into 2: Housing and Dining- my grand total was 6,999: 5399 housing, 1600 dining...</p>

<p>Mattistotle: Which dorm did you request (and were you ED)? Also, I requested an upper level (3rd north), but the 5399 for housing alone is lower than it should be for 3rd north- according to the above chart. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see. </p>
<p>UnrealFire: I don't think anyone's says their assignment (except maybe explorations or something). I believe Mattistotle is assuming because of the price.</p>
