Housing for Upperclassmen?

Hi, I’m a transfer who will be arriving in the fall as a third-year student. What is the on-campus housing situation like for upperclassmen? I’ve looked on the website and turned in my application, but I’d like to know what current students think about it.

Don’t they usually stay in on-campus apartments? They are all relatively new so should be pretty good.

I am a parent, not a student. I just visited my son’s suite called the Village at 115, as its on 115th Street. in North Residential Village, this past May, and thought it was nice. Suites, with kitchens and shared bath, near the football and baseball diamond on north campus. The housing is relatively new up there. The second year undergraduate housing and some sororities and fraternities are on south campus, up on a hill overlooking campus. The third and fourth year undergraduate students live on north campus, as do the freshmen, in separate freshman themed housing.

The North residence halls and suites are surrounded by trees and recreational fields and are close to the academic buildings on Mather Quad, the new Student Center, The Coffee House at University Circle, the Denny’s All Nighter diner, and a few Indian dives on Euclid for a meal.

Here are photos of the Village at 115:
