Housing HELP!

So basically I am absolutely confused with which residence hall I want to live in this coming fall! I want to get my deposit in ASAP, but am struggling to choose which ones I would want to live in. I know for sure that I want to live in one of the 6 traditional-style freshman dorms.
What are some pros/cons about each of the 6? (i.e. room size, dining halls, laundry, etc.) I really need a first-person point of view! Thanks!

Btw, I know this really does’t answer your question, but don’t we pick where we want to stay MUCH later?

Hayden- good Location, funnest dorm (my 1st choice), older
12th St.- New, clean,
Weinstein-really close, dorms are like dungenons
Brittany and Rubin have no a/c so i put them last.

I’m from Charlotte, so I don’t know much about NYC weather… How much a/c would we need? Is it hot for a while? I mean, won’t it be pretty cold for a good bit of the time we’re there (October thru march?)

^ yeah but september (and sometimes even october and parts of november…) can be really hot. and it’s really humid in NY.

I would think A/C very useful for the first few months and the last few months (ie. Aug, Sept, early Oct, late Apr, May). I’m from upstate, and it can get pretty hot. it’s pretty much the same in NYC.

when do we get the housing forms?
i know that when you first accept admittance you pay $300 for housing and $500 for tuition deposits. how long afterwards do we get the forms to say what dorms we want?
