I applied late for housing because I have to work all summer long so I won't have a chance to head to tally to look at places to stay. So I put in a housing application playing it safe! Anyway I just got an email that said they would offer me to stay in the Rogers hall? Anyone have any information on that? I read its grad students. And I will just be a junior at FSU undergrad so I dont know if it will be a good fit for me? Anyway has any other undergrad stayed there before with any insight? Also what I am trying to do is get reassigned to hopefully Ragens apartment style also what would be the possibility of that? Otherwise I would have to do some apartment searching last minute thanks!

It’s next to Kellum.

I know a freshman living there, since he was in a temporary assignment in Smith hall and they found him a spot there. It’s not so bad, once you understand the parking time patterns. Here’s what it looks like.

Thanks, ah I have seen that illustration like 100 times now! I cannot seem to find one picture online or a video lol its frustrating!

Rogers isn’t all Grad students. It’s my understanding that quite a few undergrads are in that building.

I haven’t been in one of the apartments, from the time I’ve spent at one the hall get-togethers for Rogers/McCollum that was held in Rogers, it seems to be pretty small.

As for getting into Ragans, I won’t say it’s impossible, but you’re going to be very lucky- Ragans fills VERY quickly. I do believe though that to get into Ragans you have to have lived on campus previously, whether you are a transfer or freshman student. I may be wrong though on that one; it might apply to just where you apply, not to where you get reassigned or actually placed. I wouldn’t count on it though.

You should also take a look into McCollum. It’s a pretty amazing townhouse apartment style dorm. I’d say it’s much more roomier than Ragans, and not as expensive!
