Housing

What is the best-fit hall for Aerospace Engineering student??

P.S. is there any forum for class of 2012???

But as a freshman, i think i will have to take some courses in other majors.

BTW, what does IRS stand for??

Its ISR: Illinois Street Residence. I live there if you have any questions.

can you tell me what ammenities does IRS have??

and how good the facility is??

Well "amenities"-wise, ISR is pretty much the same as other residence halls except that what it has tends to be nicer and cleaner. For instance, we have a nice, big cafeteria. As for amenities, we have a floor lounges, a game room (ping pong, pool, foosball,) a fair fitness room, "Late Night" food where you pay by points, and a laundry room. Nothing exciting, but it is the nicest dorm in my opinion (hence why they take tours through there.)

BUT, if you haven't filled out housing and turned it in requesting ISR by now, you pretty much have no chance. It was pretty full from upperclassmen before freshmen even started registering for housing. I applied last year on January 1st and got in.

Applying now, you have a very very LOW chance of getting in or really getting any choice of housing at all. You'll probably end up in PAR/FAR or the 6-Pack.

THanks ~!!
I just finished registered housing
i chose ISR as a primary choice, though i know there's little chance of getting in.
