How accurate is RogerHub? Low GPA for UCSB?

I am trying to calculate the chance that I will get into UCSB. When I put my stats into RogerHub, it says “Holy Smokes” which I guess means a high chance. What does that mean in terms of percentage? Like 70%?
Also the website’s data is from 2009.
Should I be taking this seriously?

My college counselor says he thinks I’ll get in and he would be surprised if I didn’t. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but at the same time I want to be able to know if, statistically speaking, I have a good chance.

My main reason I am in doubt is that I have a pretty low UC GPA (3.81) and okay test scores (SAT = 2110, SAT II Literature: 710, Math 1: 730, Math 2: 760, Chemistry:760). Most people on this site have UC GPAs over a 4.0.

Does anyone with similar stats, that also applied to UCSB, have any input?

You haven’t listed your major…

Let’s know more details about your stats, in particular your UW GPA ?

Undecided.

Yeah I think you have a good shot.

yes your uc gpa is quite low, but your test scores are above average (i think) for ucsb. I mean, if your essay was good, your gpa won’t eliminate your chances. you still have a chance, maybe not 70%, but a good one indeed.

UCSB is a high match for you, because your UC GPA is low, but your SAT is above average.

Roger Hub is pretty useless. Tried both my son’s stats and got Holy smokes for several schools were they were rejected and got around 50% or less for schools where they were accepted. Take the chances with a grain of salt along with any of us CC posters chances. I agree with @QuiteAverage90 that UCSB is probably a High Match 50/50.
