So right now, I live in a apartment with two randomly assigned roommates each having our own room, a bathroom, and a kitchen that we all share. Awesome. But I'm considering living in the suites next year with a friend, but I have absolutely no idea what it looks like inside, and I was wondering how it's different. Is it just like an apartment but smaller where everyone has their own room and a bathroom & kitchen to share? I would like to know the major differences as well as basic pros/cons compared to Apartments. I only want to live with one person (which is my friend) and although we have decided to go for the Apartments, I'm having second thoughts about choosing the Suites, if it attracts us. Answers would be appreciated.

Suites do not have a kitchen and you must buy a minimum meal plan. The ones on Busch are located fairly near the dining hall, while the apartments are a bit farther. afaik each suite is 3 double bedrooms off of one communal space, so 6 people per suite. In non-Livi apartments, the rooms are all doubles, 4 people per apartment.

It seems like you are currently in Livi, so you must have transferred in? Depending on your year and your fellow groupmates’ year of graduation, you will be prioritized for apartments. Groups of all seniors will select first.

I would plan on applying for everything you think you want because it is uncertain what you will get. Have an apartment plan, a suite plan, and a doubles plan and apply for them all.
