<p>I'm sure your mother may be under the opinion that test scores alone determine acceptance. Sit down and seriously talk to her about the fact that there are so many other factors that admissions look at like essays, commitment to extracurriculars, etc. Hell, if Ivy League doesn't sound like its something you want to pursue, let her know that. Let her know that there are a lot of colleges with just as good of programs as the Ivy schools, and that a brand name doesn't guarantee success. And, by the way a 700 on a subject test is a very good score. You should be proud :)</p>
