So I’m in general, a mid A- mid B range student, but Junior year, I got a C+ in Honours Pre-Calc. I think it was a combination of not fitting well with that teacher’s teaching style and overloading my schedule with classes and extracurriculars.
In Senior year, this year, however, my AB Calc has been hovering around the A’s. How badly will that class affect me?
It depends on where you want to apply. It likely will affect you for top schools.
It won’t hurt you. Put it behind you. I think the “mid range B” grades will already make top schools unlikely, but if you do well this semester, you’ll still have a lot of good options on the table. Congrats on doing a good job in Calculus AB. Keep it up - it will serve you well in college math.
