The kids in my friend’s homeroom don’t know how to serve themselves food.

the kids at my school only drive last years audis

^ The kids at my school don’t even drive audis, the older ones drive to school in their Toyotas and the others get dropped off in Mercedes.

How do you live with such abysmal standards?

^^the kids in my school don’t even own their cars - they just hijack them.and crash them at 120 MPG - GTA IV style

Sorry, but can someone clarify why many of are posting that “English is the second language of over half the students” is a bad thing about their school? Is this something against immigrants? Last time I checked, speaking or learning multiple languages was a good thing.

^ Agreed, that’s not very nice. I mean, if they’re always speaking a different language to one another, I can understand your frustration but that’s no excuse.

The median income of the families in my school is over $100,000; about 85% of students old enough to drive own their own cars; we have a 99% college matriculation rate; our ethnic breakdown consists of 88% caucasians, 9% hispanics (the European kind), and 3% everything else; we typically have 2-3 fights per year, which always involve two females. And just about everyone smokes pot.

Thug life.

OK get this,

My school is Gahr in Artesia, this school has a lot of smart kids, BUT a bunch of teacher, especially math teacher, who degrade their students, I was supposed to take Pre-cal h, but I’m in Geometry my spohmore year.

My school is no where near the best in the region. Oh wait, it’s not even the best in the county. Oh well, it’s at least accredited. -_-

Our school has had only four Ivy league acceptances in its entire 100+ year history. All of them matriculated.

Is this an approximation? If not, how do you know?
I have no idea around about how much money my classmates’ parents earn. Those who have families owning multiple Mercedes and BMWs, live in huge homes and go on exotic overseas trips every school break are obviously rich, but I don’t even know just how rich they are.

not a single classroom at my school has a window in it

When I was in eighth grade, there was this girl in my grade who was pregnant. She gave birth in October of our freshman year.

Apparently there’s a sixth grader in our school system that is pregnant.

Last year, there were like nine pregnant seniors and a couple others from other grades.

I don’t think anyone has gone to an ivy in resent history, but we have had a few kids go to Notre Dame.

Nine? Try over 15.

Our school’s so bad, even the guys get pregnant.

Over 15? Try over 100.

Out of how many total students?

Not sure about the stats this year, but at my school last year, out of the many pregnant girls, most were freshmen.

about 2500 students. It might be more, but I know that we can’t fit anymore in our daycare, so the others are SOL
