When transferring from one college/university to another, how can I check which class credits will transfer and which ones won't?

Thanks,
~ Andy

Some schools (like USC) have an articulation history on their website. It tells which schools people have transferred and which courses were accepted. It’s not a binding agreement, and the school can choose NOT to take your courses, but if you can take ones that have already transferred successfully, then definitely try to.

Without knowing which schools you’re talking about, that’s all I can say.

Go to the web site of the destination school and put “transfer credit” in the search box.

State universities usually have pre-made articulation agreements with same-state community colleges, so you can easily see what community college course is equivalent to what state university course. This is less likely with out-of-state transfers or transfers to private universities, so individual evaluation may need to be done.
