How can I convince my parents to let me take Chemistry over the summer?

I tried to tell them to let me take French, but they wouldn't budge. They were like why would we pay for something, when you can get it for free. I want to get ahead, so now I may want to take Chemistry over the summer. I could take World History, but was going to take the AP level next year. I may also want to take LA, but rather do a harder course in the summer. I was going to take Honors next year, but don't think they offer it in the summer. Would that look bad to college's? I'm in all other honor and AP classes. We go on vacation a lot, so I don't know if this could work out. I wanted to just have an extra elective for next year, AP Art History. Here is what my schedule would be without the Honors Chemistry:

AP World History
Accelerated Integrated Geometry
Advanced Acting
Honors LA 10th grade
AP Art History
French I

Is this too hard? Should I take LA instead of the Chemistry at the CP level. I'm better at LA and SS anyways. I don't think the offer math. I would also be going to NY for a week, so could that affect summer school? Would I be better off not taking the AP Art History? What do you suggest I take? Any feeback is fine. TY!

If I did this, would I be with kids who failed the class? Would I be the only smart kid? lol.

take it online through byu or see if your high school has a program with a local community college. my school lets students take college courses for free at the community colleges.

I don’t work good with online things, I need a teacher. And if it’s chemistry than I would need a teacher.

bump…
