Hi,

I am a senior in a high school in California and this is my third year in California. I am an international student from China. After visiting the Cornell campus during my last spring break, I fall in love with this school. Food has been one of my passions since I was little and I really want to get into Cornell's food science program. I am happy with my GPA and SAT subject tests. However, I cannot do well in SAT 1, especially the CR section, which makes me really nervous. Cornell is a prestigious school and I feel everyone applies to it has a great SAT1 score :(. Also, I don't have that much experiences related to the food science. I guess many people who apply to this program might have abundant food science experiences. I have been trying to find some internships or volunteers, but since I live in Santa Cruz, it is hard to find a right program for me. I really love Cornell's food science program and there are so many food-related activities attracting me deeply. I will do ED for Cornell's CALS. Is it really hard to get into this program?

Thank you
