im a sophomore at the moment.Last year I ended with a 3.68 GPA (Weighted)/3.33 (unweighted I believe). This year I got into harder classes and I think I messed up my first quarter and I think my GPA is going to drop this is what I got
B- in Algebra 2
A in AVID
A in Gym/Health
C+ in Chemistry Honors
B- in English 10 Honors
C in Spanish 3
C+ in AP World History

Ive been trying my hardest and the grading period just ended im devastated over my grades I feel like I already messed up my GPA and wont get into a good college for Pre-Med
I want to know if I can fix them because I have 3 more grading periods and a final grade/exams

First, slow down on the slippery slope. Don’t worry about pre-med. Pretty much any college can offer you a strong pre-med program that will allow you to get into med school.

For your grades, do you know what it is that you’re having trouble with? I would go talk to your teachers and see if they can help you with specific suggestions for what you can focus on and how you can better prepare. Part of high school is learning how to learn.

I ALWAYS talk to my teachers but they give me hard time and im just so worried I found out instead I have a B- instead of a C+ in chemistry

Don’t take honors classes if you can’t manage them. I mean if you’re just slacking or have other distractions try to balance them.

Participate in class! I don’t know how it works at your school, but for me class participation is ≈15% of the grade (depends on the teacher) so that could be the difference between a B- and a B.
For Spanish/any language, Quizlet (or really any type of flashcards) are extremely helpful! I also find that if you tape notecards with vocab words or verb conjugations places you look a lot (door; mirror; desk; closet; etc) is helpful. Plus then you’d be writing it out and I personally think that helps.
