Hi, I've been taking princeton review pactice tests on my own to prepare for the sat and I usually get a low 1900s score. For each individual subject I get something in the 600s. How can I boost my score to at least a 2100 and get at least 700s in each section. I need to improve my score asap too cause i have my sat March 9. Thanks

You need to elaborate on what you’re having trouble with.

Is there a section that’s easier for you or that you’re doing better on, or is your score about the same across the board? What kinds of questions are you missing in each section? What are your strengths? What do you think is making you score lower than you want? Are you practicing consistently and do you know the material? Or are there holes in your understanding? Are you nervous or psyching yourself out?

Have you thought about taking a prep class or getting tutoring?

I dont wanna resort to test prep or tutoring, I think thats just a money scam and i believe people can do anything by themselves if they set their mind to it. I just wanna know if there are any other good study techniques/books to use besides princeton review.

I really like the Barron’s SAT books. Also, the Blue Book is very useful with its practice tests.
