So I got my scores today, and I was really excited. I got a 760 on the Math Level 1 SAT2. Granted I think I could have done better if I wasn't so nervous, but whatever it's still a good score. When I look on this site, it seems like so many people are getting 800s. Are the tests really that easy or is it just because we're on college confidential? How common are 800s on the subject tests?

Actually a fair amount of people get 800s on some of the subject tests. For example on SAT II Math Level II, around 10% of those who take it get an 800. It’s similar for Chem and some other exams. Of course, the number is slightly skewed because a majority of college-bound high school students don’t take it as most of the colleges they apply for don’t need it.

What percentage of testtakers get 800 in SAT physics?

Math it is mentioned as around 10% of the testtakers…

Thanks

It depends on the subject. About 10% get 800’s on Math II while less than 1% get 800’s on Math I and a crapload of people get 800’s on Chinese.
