<p>Do any of you guys know how competitive UM has been?
How competitive was it this year? and what's the percentage of acceptance like?</p>
<p>UM is regarded as a very competitive university. The acceptance rate is about 37% as of last year. This year it was probably a bit lower, perhaps 35-36%. </p>
<p>Half the entering freshmen class was in the top 5% of their graduating high school class, and 70% of the entering freshmen class was in the top 10% of their graduating class. </p>
<p>Average incoming SAT score is 1340 (CR+Math)</p>
