I didn’t see any sarcasm in that and still don’t…

Even after I said I was being sarcastic? Comon you made me feel guilty, attacked my GPA (which, if you read the entirety of my post, you would have realized my school is nothing like those in Cali so cannot be compared on the same level), told me I am going to be rejected, and now you’re not letting those feelings fade.

When I first got to Cal I hated it because I didn’t like the atmosphere but I learned to like it. You’re just being a prick basically insulting us. Leave if you don’t want to be here!

Cool story bro.

@berkeleyhopeful, don’t worry, clueless is our neighborhood ■■■■■. & mrprince is our guest ■■■■■ that stops by every now and then or when we pay it to come and entertain for a few days.

okay homegirl

i hate people who try to act like their effing black and they aren’t. i’m black and i don’t even say that ******.

this thread caught my attention.

and what does this mean exactly?

@crowslayer + MechRocket

Oh that’s a relief! Thank you guys. I feel so much better now and feel more welcome at Berkeley (should I be accepted).

it means using diction that black people would say. what else would it mean? black people say it because it is natural when they say it, white people say it to be cool and make themselves look stupid or sound stupid in this case.

jesus, you are really really dumb, for real.

o/" you don’t have to come and confess…
we’re lookin for you
we gon find you.
we gon find you.
so you can run and tell that,
run and tell that.
run and tell that, homeboy
home, home, homeboy o/"

How can Berkeley be a great school? Because the professors are literally the best in the world, easily equivalent to MIT, Stanford, or Harvard in the sciences. Simply put, the research money is there. Look at LBL. Look at industry funding. Look at general government funding. Berkeley rides to success based on its research, not its students. Sure, the undergraduate population can’t rival MIT/Stanford/Harvard. But that isn’t what really matters – if you aren’t the average student, comparing average students doesn’t tell you anything about what school is best for you.

Clueless- you’re stereotyping against yourself if you are really black. I am and it was never “natural” for me to speak like that. Nor is it natural for anyone-it’s taught

@mech: even if clueless is just dumb, he’s getting MAJOR ■■■■■ points atm, lol

Guys, remember the rule: STOP FEEDING THE ■■■■■■ http://paradoxdgn.com/junk/avatars/trollface.jpg

Actually, kind sir, my friend-- who is an admissions officer-- has informed me on multiple occasions that they look at school-wide GPA percentiles and give extra benefits to schools in poor areas!

HAHAHAHA. I said I would leave this thread, but I changed my mind. I haven’t even said a single word since my last post and already this thread is 3 pages long! Shows how insecure you people are by having to respond instead of ignoring this thread.

Anyway, one post did catch my mind.
And I must say, I actually agree with you. Research is great. Students, are not. Good. I’m satisfied a Berkeley student on * this forum* himself agrees. Oh, and it’s only a matter of decades due to budget cuts before the research is going to diminish and move away to, say, Stanford or even USC.
